Three letters - MLK - are all that is needed to recall the
history of the fight against discrimination - through non-violent
protests and resistance against racial inequality.
On Monday January 16, 2023 we celebrate the life and legacy of
Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. As a warrior for truth, he
dedicated his life to the gospel as a baptist minister and is most
remembered as one of the great leaders of the civil rights
movement.
Considering the division we find in America today, there is
still a lot we have to learn from Dr. King - thankfully, his legacy
continues to this day through through his niece, and the daughter
of civil rights activist A.D. King - Dr. Alveda King is our guest
on The Scalpel.
How do we respond to the division of our nation? Take notes if
you need to, but it begins with seeking Christ's righteouness. He
is our only hope.
